I joined Pinterest.com a while ago and am totally loving it – it’s a giant treasure trove of all things you could possibly love and want to create little mood boards of – you find out there are loads of other crazies out there that love the same random shit you do, it’s awesome!

So, I’ve been creating random boards for stuff I like – people, photography, places, mottos – inspiring icons – anything really? Ranging from Beautiful People, to Places I Love and Mottos for Life…you name it! Anyway, as I mentioned the leopard in the title, pinterest has also been a great place to feed my love for the giant cat. Here is a little selection of the gorgeous leopard things you can find on my Leopard Love board:

And this is only just a little taster of the HUGE range of all things leopard on my board of Leopard Love – you won’t believe it, but I’ve found everything from leopard stairs, leopard eyeshadow & leopard nails to leopard cupcakes. Yes, it’s true, it all actually exists – somewhere…out there. I’m LOVING it :)

Wild Thing – accessorise a leopard dress…

So my last post was all about how to wear the leopard print. Here let’s have a look at how to accessorise around the leopard for those brave ones who have gone all out for a full-on leopard print dress…

I think the cue is to make the leopard look “harmless” and also “individual” at the same time – to show character in an ocean of people doing leopard the wrong way and to downplay the “fierceness” of the leopard simultaneously…

- use lots of black – black is always the new black and don’t EVER let anyone tell you otherwise

- go big on the beauty – false lashes, smokey eyes, bright red nails etc. you don’t want to disappear and fade behind the leopard, it’s still about YOU

- accessorize cleverly with ‘cute’ and playful details (cue: the bow suede gloves and the acorn pendant)

- accessorize cleverly with elegant and ladylike details (cue: diva plain black clutch, Linda Farrow sunglasses, delicate gold leaf ring)

Call it tacky, call it brash, but sometimes there’s just nothing that beats a good healthy dose of leopard print.

Leopard print can most definitely be classy, elegant and tasteful too…just make sure you’re wearing the right size and not 2 sizes too small maybe? That does tend to help…

A leopard print dress can sometimes be all you need to stand out without showing even the tiniest bit of skin.

Wear an all black ensemble with some striking leopard print shoes? Boom, you just hit jackpot!

For those amongst us that are relatively new and maybe not yet that comfortable with the fierce big cat, how about some accessories that you could potentially even take off or kind of hide during the night/ day should you suddenly feel like it’s too much? A leopard print scarf or even a leopard print bag are perfect options! Given that the bag is a leopard print clutch and you have a bigger (preferably black leather bag) one you could stick it into…

And yes, this next one is something I haven’t even tried yet – leopard print nails! I’ve been known to publicly show my love of leopard in everything from bags, jewellery and even leopard print leggings and I’ve also been known to never shy away from some crazy nails (currently rocking Chanel’s Peridot shade for weeks – such a perfect colour for Christmas?!) – but I just haven’t found someone who can do this for me dammit – the hunt for the ultimate nail artist in North London continues – let me know if you know anyone you can reccommend!
