selling designer trainers by Ash on eBay

As you may have already noticed on my other blog – I’ve got a few things listing on eBay at the moment…about ten things actually: some shoes, some jewellery, some clothes and even my gorgeous little Samsung N150 netbook (sad times!).

ANYWAY – what else is up for sale? A pair of gorgeous turquoise suede trainers by designer brand Ash actually!

The colour is totally awesome and the entire shoe is in a really cool perforated suede – with a buckle on the side and a cool flap over tongue on the front – other colours are available online, but think this one is pretty much sold out – it’s an awesome shoe for warm days…

As you can tell from the pictures, they’ve hardly ever been worn – max 2-3 times, I just never ever wear trainers I realised!

Uhm yeah, so make sure you check out all my different sales on eBay – most of the stuff has either never been worn or only 1-2 times – so really a waste of closet space at my end and in need of new friendly homes!

365 layers of make-up?

I do love being Dutch. The older I get the more proud I am of being Dutch.

One of the many things I love about Holland is the permission to be creative and explore. To explore things that no one else does, no one else questions or no one else bothers to stand still about. Sometimes appearing banal, sometimes violent, sometimes ludicrous, but always interesting.

Like make-up. Layers of make-up. Make-up every single day. We all take it for granted. Obvs.

But what would it be like if you applied 365 days worth of make-up to your face on one single day?

Dutch artist duo Lernert Engelberts & Sander Plug finding out in a wacky new film project called, ironically, ‘Natural beauty’.

sneak peek at work?

Here a few behind-the-scenes glimpses from my work. We had a photoshoot last week in the studio in the office and the girls did really well finding and making their props – and the flowers and cupcakes were beautiful as well :)

Amazing (and HUGE) vanilla cupcakes covered in glitter from the wonderful bakery Lola’s in Mayfair!

Dresses and shoes pre-selected and ready to be shot!

The make-up artists have set up shop and ready and waiting for the models to arrive!

muchos confused??

I saved a dress on my ASOS wishlist in the hope it would be reduced in the sale – but NO, sale starts and the price actually goes up?!!

How does this work?! I have a premier account and shop at asos.com A LOT and generally love them a bit too much for my own good (and my bank account’s good) – and I’m really surprised?!

I only noticed this right now coz I was about to place an order for 4 dresses and was about to add this dress and saw the alert – now I’ve been really put off buying the other 4 dresses I was gonna buy anyway :(

Olivia Palermo might be a big fan and regularly spotted wearing a spasl of Tibi – but to me they’ve somehow never really been a brand I’ve considered wearing…so let’s have another look, shall we?

For Tibi is seems to be all about the details and the construction – something I can definitely support – I believe in quality over flashing people with colour or bling when the product isn’t all that fab (slightly Halston Heritage perhaps? sometimes?)…

Look out for strong whites, bold colours and exquisite details this summer – with a touch of the exotic to their designs, Tibi has unique Summer style down to a tee!

my summer dresses by Dana Ashkenazi?

Flying to TLV again for a bit of sunshine on the 21st of April, I’m contemplating packing my Dana Ashkenazi summer dresses – I’m wondering if I should just leave them here and then head for the shop on Sheinkin on the first day and just buy some new dresses??

I love the grey figure hugging midi dress – it’s like the most comfortable dress ever – and its plain grey marl on the front and funky coloured stripes all down the back…not to be outdone by the the blue maxi dress with “make a scene” all over it….

Meeeh!! Decisions oh decisions :)

In the meantime, check out the designer’s website for some inspiration…I just couldn’t see enough on the website so I don’t know if the current collection is any good or not?

My dream job would be to work on bringing Israeli fashion and jewellery designers to the UK, Europe and taking them international – but hey, I’d need to be able to find contact details first in order to get in touch with them…why do they all have such shit websites?
